Some Useful Tips
We are situated in the centre of Culdaff village, on the north east coast of the beautiful Inishowen Peninsula, Co Donegal, Ireland.
Culdaff Beach is a Blue Flag sandy beach, so it is a safe clean area for swimming, surfing, paddling and walking. It’s composed of two areas separated by rocks – one known locally as the Warren, and the other the Long Strand!
The coastal habitats in this area are protected and designated a Special Area for Conservation (SAC).

- 15 mins walk, 2 min drive to Culdaff Beach, where you can go swimming, walking or surfing at the beach (check out lessons by Inish Adventures)
- 15 mins walk, 2 min drive to Bunagee Harbour, where you can get a boat trip to Inistrahull
- 4 mins by car to Malin Town where you can go Horse riding
- 20 Mins to Malin Head, the northernmost point of the island of Ireland
- 20 Mins drive to Urris Hills, ideal for hill walking
- 10 min Drive to Carndonagh, the site of the Donagh Cross, where you can for shop and relax with a coffee
